The South African Consulate General in New York and Brand SA co-hosted a luncheon to discuss an in-depth study of South Africa produced by Goldman Sachs entitled “Two Decades of Democracy: What South Africa is Doing with It and What Needs to be Done.”
During the luncheon around forty distinguished guests from the business community in the tri-state area were welcomed by both South African Consul General George Monyemangene and Simon Barber, Brand South Africa's US Country Manager.
Colin Coleman, Partner and Head of Goldman Sachs sub-Saharan Africa Investment Banking Division, the author of the study, presented his findings followed by a lively discussion which reflected the high level of interest the report has generated both here in the US and in South Africa since it was published.
