Consul General George Monyemengene, Consul Gugulethu Gingqi and Ms. Bing Alo-Villareal visited the State of Kentucky to attend its Annual World Trade Day and Worldfest events in Louisville, KY from 28-30 August 2013. They met with senior officers of the Kentucky World Trade Center, the Louisville Office for Globalization, and ISCO Industries.
On 28 August 2013, Consul General George Monyemangene met with Kentucky Governor Steve Beshear and Secretary Larry Hayes at Frankfort. The Consul General extended an invitation for the State of Kentucky to undertake a trade mission to South Africa and to co-host a business seminar on "Doing business with South Africa and Africa" in the future.
